Unboxing Your Order
We highly recommend filming the unboxing of your SónChiraiya package, since, if needed, such videos serve as proof of defect out of the box.
Please note that all handloom clothing items have minor irregularities in weaving. These irregularities add a certain charm and uniqueness that make your handloom clothing item truly one-of-a-kind.

What items are returnable?
Items once sold cannot be returned unless they are found to be defective out of the box via an unboxing video.
Is refund or store credit offered?
Neither cash refund nor store credit is offered, as only a replacement for defective items is.
How do I begin the exchange process?
To initiate exchange, please provide your email address and order number.
- Confirm your personal and order details for the item you wish to exchange.
- Once your replacement request is approved by our team, you will receive a confirmation email.
- You can request replacement within seven days of receiving your order.
- Original invoice and packaging along with an unboxing video must be provided as proof of purchase and defect.
- Replacement items are shipped only after the original shipment is received by us.
- Original shipping fee is not refundable.
- Upon receiving your replacement request, we assign one of SónChiraiya’s delivery personnel from your city/country to pick up your package and the relevant paperwork you are sent via email. In the unlikely event that our delivery personnel are unable to collect your package for return, we may request you to drop it off at the nearest post office.
When returning packages from abroad, customers are responsible for shipping their packages to India. In addition, they are required to pay any taxes and duties levied on international shipping. Packages with missing contents or items not in their original condition, will not be accepted.

- SónChiraiya reserves the right to accept or refuse exchange after reviewing the condition of the items returned. Used and damaged items are not accepted and hence returned to the customer.
- SónChiraiya reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions without prior notice.
- SónChiraiya reserves the right to withdraw any offers/discounts offered during purchase, without any explanation.
- SónChiraiya is not liable for any damage that may occur as a result of not adhering to the recommended care instructions*.

- Only orders that have been received but not processed at the time of cancellation are eligible for cancellation.
- After an email confirming successful processing of their order is received by a customer, that order is no longer eligible for cancellation.
- Orders that are currently in production (i.e., being woven or customized) do not qualify for cancellation.
